Indiana University Health treats all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. The Financial Assistance policy of IU Health assists those who are uninsured, low income or medically indigent by providing financial relief to those who ask for assistance after healthcare has been provided.
To be considered for financial assistance, please complete and submit an application.
Depending on the information submitted on the application, the documents you present in support of the information on the application and verification of assets, IU Health may determine you qualify for further financial assistance.
One of the tools utilized in the determination process is a sliding scale version of the number of household members and the annual household income.
